Definition of Trust

A little girl and her father 

A little girl and her father were crossing a bridge.
The father was kind of scared so he asked his little daughter:
"Sweetheart, please hold my hand so that you don't fall into the river." The little girl said:
"No, Dad. You hold my hand."
"What's the difference?" Asked the puzzled father.
"There's a big difference," replied the little girl.
"If I hold your hand and something happens to me, chances are that I may let your hand go. But if you hold my hand, I know for sure that no matter what happens, you will never let my hand go." 

In any relationship, the essence of trust is not in its bind, but in its bond. So hold the hand of the person whom you love rather than expecting them to hold yours...

Target The Goal is in Our Hand

A farmer had a dog who used to sit by the roadside waiting for vehicles to come around. As soon as one came he would run down the road, barking and trying to overtake it. One day a neighbor asked the farmer "Do you think your dog is ever going to catch a car?" The farmer replied, "That is not what bothers me. What bothers me is what he would do if he ever caught one." Many people in life behave like that dog who is pursuing meaningless goals.

Life is hard by the yard, 
but by the inch, 
it's a cinch.

બંગાળના ઈશ્વરચંદ્ર વિદ્યાસાગર એક મહાન માણસ થઇ ગયા. તેઓ ભણીગણીને સંસ્કૃતના પ્રાધ્યાપક બન્યા હતા. આ માટે એમની માતાએ તનતોડ મહેનત કરી હતી. પોતાની સોનાની બંગડીઓ પણ વેચી દીધી હતી. જયારે ઈશ્વરચંદ્રને પહેલો પગાર મળ્યો ત્યારે તેમણે પોતાની માતાની સોનાની બંગડીઓ લેવા માતાના હાથમાં મૂકી દીધો. ત્યારે માતાએ કહ્યું : બેટા, મારે ઘરેણાં જોઈએ છે, પણ બીજા પ્રકારના. મને ત્રણ પ્રકારના ઘરેણાં બનાવી આપ. એક, દેશનાં સંતાનો જ્ઞાન વિનાના ના રહે એ માટે એક શાળા બાંધવ. બીજું કે રોગોથી પીડાતા રોગીઓ માટે ધર્માદા દવાખાનું બંધાવ અને ત્રીજું એ કે અનાજ માટે ટળવળતા લોકો માટે સદાવ્રત ચલાવ. બસ, મને આ ઘરેણાં જોઈએ.
